Azkaban was imported from Australia on March 2010 as a proven 6 year old for his pedigree (including Tulaco, Jolimont Warrior, Jolimont Conquistador, Purumbete Eldorado), for his correct conformation, for his deep, bold, crimp style and for his fibre density (secondary follicle to primary follicle ratio 13.3, follicle density 57.1 per sq mm of skin).
Three NZ progeny are looking very promising as cria, with 10 further eagerly awaited.
